What Hapsburgs in Vienna, Stays in Vienna

Güten morgen from Vienna. Chuck and I caught the train from Budapest to Vienna ('Wien' in German) yesterday morning. Vienna is, from what we've seen so far, a very old city. It's buildings and history are old but it seems as though the city is as well. It strikes me as, although a beautiful place to visit, a more mature place for more mature people.

We spent yesterday afternoon exploring Vienna's old town by bike (including St Stephens cathedral which was massive and some ancient Roman ruins). For dinner, we found a quaint little schnitzelhaüs down a back alley of Vienna's old town. It was quite romantic.

Today we visited the imperial Schönnbrunn Palace where the Habsburg dynasty lived. You might say it was a fairly impressive house, if you're into that sort of thing. I'm going to try to attach some pictures but I really can't figure out how. Hopefully I can. The gardens were the real treat though, complete with a children's playground, hedge maze and a zoo. The views from the top of Schönbrunn hill over all of Vienna were quite amazing too. After dinner, Chuck and I went for a swim in the Danube because YOLO. Tomorrow we head off to Bratislava for a day trip which, if you've seen the movie Eurotrip might prove to be interesting.

Anyway, hopefully there are some pictures attached about here. Sorry if there's not. Oh, and Chuck is walking around the hostel naked. Probably wont attach pictures of that (they wouldn't be very impressive anyway).
